The Waterford Rescue Squad provides Emergency Medical Services to the residents of the Town and Village of Waterford, as well as surrounding communities when assistance is needed. WRS operates with two ambulances as well as a certified first response vehicle. Our 24/7 operation is staffed with at least one Emergency Medical Technician and one Advanced Life Support Provider and consists of both career and volunteer staff.

WRS works closely with the Waterford Police Department, Village of Waterford Fire Departments, The Northside Fire District and the Halfmoon Fire Department. Answering close to 1000 emergency calls annually, our staff strives on for a level of excellence, whether it be through training, professionalism and our work with the community we serve.

WRS has always maintained an open door policy with the community, whether it’s to stop by with a question or to have your blood pressure taken, our staff is always willing to help. It is the goal of our staff to always remain community oriented and provide the best emergency medical services for our community.
